More about the Schedule

Twice Daily Yoga: 8am before breakfast and again at 5pm before dinner.

Ale will lead the group through an invigorating morning yoga practice and a wind down class focused on restoration every day. Ale will incorporate meditation and introspection in her teachings.

Group Workshops: 2 hrs in am or pm based on the days schedule

Our optional workshops will harness our collective wisdom to support personal inquiry. We will be working with certain themes and tools to invite in more insight into your experience and what you need.

  • Tools that will be offered to increase insight: Solo walks in nature, journaling, art, movement

  • Questions we will explore in groups: What gifts do you have that want to be offered to your community? What do you need to let go of? What needs more space in your life, what needs more attention?

Format: power of circles

Our workshops create space for you to tap into your own knowing through sitting in circles with peers. Kika and Kay, your workshop facilitators, will not be lecturing, only offering tools, themes and a strong container.

Gathering together in circles is a powerful tool to support connection and understanding, a simple, ancient social technology that is beautifully suited to an increasingly polarized world. By taking turns to talk within an intentional structure, we reduce reactivity and increase space for self-regulation and empathy. This age-old format can support the exploration of any theme; grief and loss, parenting in the age of technology, identities, aging etc. Circle work is based on the understanding that you are the expert in your own experience and needs. Within that framework it is useful to have a guide not a specialist or professional.

*if more directed guidance is needed there will be time to schedule one on one sessions with Kay and/or Kika during the retreat.

Individual Craniosacral & Counseling sessions

Participants will have the opportunity once you arrive at the retreat to sign up for an individual craniosacral session with Kika, BCST, and/or an individual counseling session with Kay, LICSW.

Counseling sessions are helpful if you need more guidance or are not able to be fully vulnerable in groups.

Craniosacral work will also support embodied intention setting through full muscle release and tension work.

You can sign up for a time slot based on what is best for your unique schedule based on other activities you decide to take part in at the retreat center.
