Hey there, I’m Brooke.

And I’m so glad you’re here.

What makes working with me unique?

I specialize in trauma-informed somatic therapy, parts work, and mindfulness, integrating these modalities to help you explore your inner landscape with curiosity and compassion. I’ll work collaboratively to help you navigate life’s challenges, cultivate self-acceptance, and reclaim your sense of agency. No matter what you’re seeking support with through therapy, I’m here to walk alongside you on your path.

Your story matters, and your healing is possible.

About Me

Healing is not about fixing what is “wrong” but about reconnecting with what has always been whole. It is both deeply personal, rooted in your own lived experience, and also relational. For this reason, my primary goal in our work together is to create a therapeutic container within which you experience trust, non-judgment, collaboration, and safety. From this space, the wisdom that already exists within you can unfold and guide you on your journey towards greater vitality and wellbeing.

In order to foster these conditions, I offer support through somatic practices, parts work, mindfulness, and Gestalt, integrating these modalities to help you explore your inner landscapes with curiosity and compassion. My work is trauma-informed and consent-based, meaning you’re in the driver’s seat throughout our time together. Through my education in Naropa University’s Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling program, I’ve specialized in these approaches.

I have experience working with folks struggling with anxiety, depression, the impacts of trauma, spiritual/existential crises, and identity exploration. All of my work is body-centered in that I’m hoping to restore your sense of mind, body, and spirit connection, though I am particularly passionate about working with folks who struggle with disordered eating, body image, and/or eating disorders. My approach is grounded in the liberatory framework of Body Trust® and Health at Every Size® (HAES®) principles. As such, I take a non-diet, weight-inclusive, anti-fat bias approach. I’ll work with you to regain trust in your body, explore attuned eating and joyful movement, and build self-compassion. Central to my work is the belief that healing includes reconnecting with the body’s innate wisdom and rejecting harmful societal narratives around weight, health, and worth, all the product of inequitable, systemic injustices.

When I’m not in the therapist’s seat, I enjoy spending time outdoors, reading, hiking, cooking, traveling, doing puzzles, and spending time with my English Bulldog, Eleanor. I’m thrilled to be making a home here in the Gorge, where nature is an abundant resource for my own wellbeing.
